Blackisle 2009SDAS Blackisle - 28th & 29th November 2009 Blackisle was our first SDAS rally for the season and we had an absolute blast albeit whilst having some intermittent van troubles!! Lmao!On arriving at the forest, our good old faithful van decided to splutter,cough and die on us leaving us with no other choice than to ignore it for the night and get some sleep!! Hahahaha!Next day it was decided to stick the battery on charge and continue with the mushing.......well the show must go on eh??? Lmwao! Blackisle was also quite memorable for myself and our boy Kai since we decided to make our rally debute together and actually take part in running a race for a change!A big Thank You to Lisa Curtin who gave me her wonderful boy Jet to run alongside Kai in the 2 Dog open class - You Officially Rock!!!We also want to Thank Andrew Scott who took pictures of myself and Paul running the trail (left and above) and gave us permission to use them - your photography skills are excellent!!!Unfortunatley owing to the van troubles meant we had to scratch running on the Sunday and leave after running on the Saturday afternoon, but we did have great time while we were there! Thank You to all who helped us with our van problems, to Callum who tried to jump start us on the Friday night and to Rob and Britny who jump started us on the Saturday afternoon allowing us to limp our way home!
